I'm an over 60 woman that has lived a full and crasy life, without regrets. Not only did I raise 2 boys and 2 girls alone, as a single parent, but have been single for the past 31 years. I was classified in 2007 with having Bi-polar rapid cycle, fibromyalgia in 1987, 2000 with Chronic pain, chronic fatique, SAD, neuropathy, cognitive difficulties, and mal-absorption problems. I had my total thyroid removed in 1975, along with two para-thryoids. So what I am wondering, now that I have Chronic Lyme disease, which of these diseases came first? Because I was laid off last July, as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of a Federally funded program when there were cut backs (I was the cut back-lol) I figured I'd go back to college and get a Degree in Medical Terminolgy/Records Management, which I can do from my home. Then one evening while I was at a keyboarding class, within two hours the pain that radiated throughout every joint in my body was so severe (over an 8 for me to even feel pain) that I couldn't stand it. I couldn't even walk down my steps, pick up a quart of milk, or do anything. Then when it hadn't subsided by that Wed., two days later, I decided to go to my GP and see if they could find out what was going on, as this was something new, even for me! They ran the regular blood work that they usually every 2-4 months including a thyroid panel..but added one for RA and Lymes. It took until the following Monday for them to call me back with the results..Chronic Lyme Disease! And a course of 21 days of oral anit-biotics, then another blood test. The first anti-biotic caused me nausea so bad, I couldn't take it. So I've been on something else for the past 6 days. The fatigue, brain fog, and pain is overwhelming, but when I do take a pain killer I end up with the mania of my bi-polar, in high gear, but without the severe pain. I've started to stagger again when I walk (and no I don't drink.lol), I can't concentrate at all unless I take a pain killer, in other words, it's the worse senario that I've ever experienced! I'm a reasearcher/administrative assistant for over 30 years..so I started researching and that's how I found this website..tG! People/individuals going through the same stuff I am or worse, and what's worked or not for them. I've lived alone for most of my last 30 years, my family and close friends are living throughout the other states..so this website is a blessing. I've recently researched a Rife Machine...sounds to good to be true! Anyone with Chronic Lymes used this with success? Anyone found success with the anti-biotic regime? I've found some questionable information on this that's not to promising. Thanks for listening. Please respond with any information. Nikki
