I'm clinically diagnosed with neurological Lyme, but I've wondered if it might be something else, e.g. I had a severe reaction to Ambien more than a year ago and my insomnia suddenly included significant cognitive difficulties.
I have been treated for a Lyme specialist for about 8 months but nothing yet to attack Lyme. Everything so far has been about going after gluten, heavy metals etc.
I was given Cumanda at one point for some related problems and it had no effect on me. I quickly went up to high dose, maybe 20 drops, and it did nothing.
On my own I recently tried Samento tincture from NutraMedix. I intended to start with a single drop but accidentally put in four. It did nothing. I tried increasing dosage and within a few days took 20 drops. It did nothing.
Is it possible that could mean I've got something other than Lyme?
Incidentally, certain supplements seem to have helped a lot with sleep and my short-term memory has improved considerably, though far from completely -- perhaps from the brain re-wiring on its own, which is what the neuropsychologist who tested me (and found serious problems) suggested would occur.
So, again, is the lack of reaction to Samento -- no herx, no discomfort -- telling me it might not be Lyme?
Thanks
