Hi All, I'm newer here - looks like great people and info. I'm a self-diagnosed lyme/mycoplasma chronic infection for, could be 10 or more years now. Just figured it out in the past year with the help of an alternative healer.

I've had the joint pains, headaches, brain fog, exhaustion, weak and sore muscles, sleep problems, and more for years...
but what was most scary is that last year I had spontaneous massive pulmonary embolisms in my lungs aand nearly died.

The hospitalists could find no cause and sent me home on blood thinners to heal after five weeks in the hospital and a transfusion......then, things got worse. My muscles began to waste away and my bones got weak, the brain fog got unbearable and my lungs and heart were weak. I could no longer walk.

I found an alternative healer specializing in lymes aand he started me on colloidal silver. I began intensely herxing and my lungs got terribly worse. Then, after several months, things began to shift and I started having a few better days. It's been about six months on colloidal silver now and my strength is coming back - still have a ways to go.

Anyone have blood clots from lymes or co-infections?

Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!

hugs, claire

I forgot the reason, but people with lyme have thicker blood.

In my wife's case, it seems that lyme had caused many holes in her heart. This was found in the wall between the first and forth chamber. This was thought to be an atrial septal defect (ASD) that she has had since birth. On further inspection, they found that that wall had many holes. The surgeon had never seen anything like that before. He patched it up with two patches (each patch covering a few holes) without having to do open heart surgery.

Anyways, these holes cause turbulence in the blood flow. This turbulence mixes the blood (I think of it like an eddy current on a river) and causes clots. This is compounded by the fact the blood is thick already. It’s a bit of a one-two punch from the Bb.

Take care,
Rich (skiweasel7)

This is how I had it explained to me...

Whenever there is trauma in a certain area of the body, the body deposits fibron. Fibron is a fibrous protein involved in the clotting of blood. In the case of a cut, it is a good thing, or we would bleed to death. I also understand in the case of chronic disease the body deposits fibron in your tissues to thicken the blood to inhibit organisms from being mobile. However, it also keeps whatever you are using to try and treat the organisms with from getting to it. It is recommended to use nattokinase which is an anti-clotting enzyme along with whatever treatment you choose, be it antibiotics or natural alternatives. It seems to make sense your symptoms worsened when put on the blood-thinners but no antibiotics. It probably let those little buggers run rampant.

My son, who has lyme goes to a natropath that uses muscle-testing to help in deciding what his protocol should be. Although on the bottle of nattokinase we use, the recommended dosage is two capsules per day; he tests for six per day, telling me he definately has a lot of fibron in his blood.
However, be sure to check with your Dr. before taking this, especially if you are on blood-thinners, as you may overdose.

Hope this helps!
May God bless you all!

hello there!
I too have thick blood as a result of Lyme and Co-infections. I have actually had a couple strokes as a result. i also have a genetic clotting factor that complicates the issue so i take heprin to thin my blood. however, my siblings (with Lyme) also have thick blood, but do not have the clotting factor and they take a suppliment called Boluke. It is made from two species of earthworms and has been use for centuries for improved circulation. I would suggest looking into it.
Good Luck

I was curious if any of you have had High anti-cardiolipin or D-dimers? I have had 2 high D-dimer tests and 2 high anti-cardiolipin (cardiolipin IGM)tests.

Thanks

many of those symptoms lead to HIV, and it is not uncommon to have a negative test result when you are actually HIV positive. get retested.. but overall sounds like you just named everything you could think of.

-vaginal discharge: normal
-skin tags: normal
-sores: possible STD
- bump on cervix: might actually be the cervix, if you gyno can't see it, im sure it's fine
- etc..
