This video describes some of the reasons why borrelia, the Lyme spirochete, is so difficult to eradicate from the body. Besides its multiple forms, borrelia uses biofilm, DNA sharing and other tactics for its survival. Knowing what these are can enable us to develop strategies for its elimination, or at least know what we are up against in the battle against Lyme disease!
