Hello,

My son is 10. He has had Lyme for 5 years. He was diagnosed and treated with an inadequate amount of antibiotics at that time. Since then we've treated him with high dose/long-term antibioitcs. He has symptom-free periods, but they don't last.

For the last three weeks he has been receiving rife treatments. We are basing his treatment off of Bryan's book, which is scary for us.

Our son never "herxed" on antibiotics. However, he gets very ill after rife treatment. He'll be sick for about 6 days, have one good day, and then he'll have a treatment and it will start all over. Our son is also being treated by a great naturopath, and a family practice doctor.

How can I know these are herx reactions? Also, does anyone achieve full remission? I'm starting to think this is impossible with chronic Lyme. All of the rife stories I read sound as if the rife has helped a great deal, but doesn't heal completely. If this is the case, then I'd like to prepare myself.

I'm losing heart. Everyone asks how our son is doing, and what we're doing to treat him. I don't even want to explain that we're using an experimental treatment with unknown side effects that I read about in a book.

Don't get me wrong. I'm so very grateful for Bryan's honesty and research. Really, it's all we have right now, which is unbelievable.

Thank you for listening. I appreciate any/all insight.

Where do you live? I have researched doctors and found many who specialize in chronic Lymes disease all over the country. I live in Texas, I have only found 2 in my state. The medical board here shuts people down for treating people for Lymes so I try to keep it hush hush. Anyway, if your interested in finding a chronic Lymes doctor, let me know and maybe I can help. klcryer@hotmail.com

My heart goes out to you and your son. Good luck and good health to you and your family.

Karen
