The neurologist I work for is a distributor of Ambrotose. Though he often prescribes or suggests its use, I hear no positive feedback about it from patients who have used it. They seem to all think it has made no difference for them. And it is expensive to pay for out of pocket. I am newly diagnosed w/ Lyme, though it got to the chronic stage long before my busy self realized what had happened. Now begins the journey to wellness.

If you Google Ambrotose & how to make it you will find recipes of the how to. Much cheaper than buying it. It is a glyconutrient that's all that I know,
haven't tried it yet but might.

I had a Mannatech distributor call me 10 years ago about Ambrotose. I did not want to take it, because of the sugars. However, she did not stop calling and convinced me that it would help me. I bought about $1000 worth of products, then got on the auto-ship for Ambrotose. My mom, my brother and I were on it for a little over 2 years. None of us ever noticed any improvement at all. The only thing I noticed was I felt much more fatigued on it and I gained weight (but my wallet was much lighter LOL).
I do not doubt Ambrotose has helped many people struggling with energy issues; so, I do not want to say it is not a good product. However, I would never take it again, even if someone bought it for me. If anyone with Lyme asked my opinion, I would not suggest Ambrotose.
I have literally been fighting for my life for 16 years. Yet, I have finally responded to a couple of natural supplements I have been taking for only 2-3 months. I am not totally well or even near totally well. Yet, I feel like I am going to live despite this hell called Lyme and I have a much better sense of well-being!
I have had Lyme for 30 years. My body and immune system shut down 16 years ago when I came down with another bout of pneumonia, became paralyzed and hospitalized, then doctors put me on IV and oral steroids. Since then, my cells do not recognize the Lyme is an intruder, no matter how much I boost my immune system. I have tried IV, oral and IM antibiotics. I have also tried countless vitamins, supplements and alternative treatments.

This may not seem big to others, but I had family come and visit a week ago. Normally, I am so deathly ill after about 20 minutes that I can't talk or sit up. Then, when they leave, I have NO memory of their visit and am on my deathbed for days or even weeks. Did I go play tennis with them?
