If you wish to contact someone off site, or privately onsite, just click on their user name -- on the page that lists the threads you will get sent directly to the member's profile. There you may find the user's email if they have it public, if not you can always send the person a private message.

If you click on a member's name in one of the threads, you get a drop down box that gives you options, "View Profile," "Send a PM" (that's a Private Message), "Add to your watched users" and "View posts"
