Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and would be grateful to hear your views on this..

I'm trying out this natural anti-biotic, for 1 week only as suggested in brian rosner's new book, as an alternative to pharmaceuticals which seem to make me very depressed..

but the dosage on the bottle is really vague ("4-12 drops 1-3 times daily..") so i'm kind of guessing, trying 4drops twice daily initially..

4 days on,thought i was having a herx as my r side is very inflamed but now not sure really if in fact the dosage is too low and this is just a flare up..

please can someone advise re doses etc, thanks

tilly, uk

I worked my dose up by adding one drop every day. I do 15 drops, 3x/day, with meals. Its helped me, along w/the Cowden protocol - Samento plus Burbur, w/a green supplement for detox and magnesium. Adding probiotics to that expensive cocktail, I'm off antibiotics (for 2 weeks so far) and functioning. I use Nutribiotics. It waas recommended by a naturopath for something else, I've kept it in my 'toolkit' for years. A relatively inexpensive weapon.

I used grapefruit seed extract a few years ago to treat candida, not knowing that my big problem was lyme, and I herxed like a mother!! So, it definitely causes herxes, but I can't comment on its effectiveness for complete recovery.

As far as I know there is no upper limit on dosage on for grapefruit seed extract, but granted, herx can get rough. It kills many microbes.
