Because this forum is brand new, there will obviously be some imperfections. I would like to fix these as soon as possible. If you run into a technical glitch or a software problem, please let me know immediately by posting a message in this forum. Or, if you simply feel that a feature or forum should be added or taken away, let me know that as well. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Bryan,

This is great! How about a place for technical discussions about Rife machines? By that I mean technical as in experimental designs, how to build them, improve them, etc. I would like to get some discussions going with the technically inclined among us.

Maybe Rife Machines could be separated into a few subcategories so it doesn't end up all mixed together like on Yahoo. New and non-technical users would find discussions about kilovolts and cell wall potentials confusing, and good technical information will get buried in the other chatter if they are all put together.

Thanks!

Absolutely - that is a great idea! I will separate out the rife topics, right away...thanks for that feedback.

After I've separated it out, please let me know if you feel it is sufficient...or if you would like it changed at all.

Bryan,

I would really like to see a topic on health insurance. I have been on IV antibiotics for a long time and my health insurance comapny is trying to deny my need for continued therapy despite the fact that I show improvement on the meds and I crash when I am off of them.

Also - I would like to know how many people are disabled from this disease and whether they are receiving disability benefits, as my long term disability company seems to think I am just depressed and they are trying to cut off my benefits despite the fact that I cannot walk. I can't be the only one out there who would benefit from these discussions, I am sure. Thanks - CJ

How about a Dental section?? I had a tooth extracted- old root canal infected. I thought I should get it pulled and did. I have been incredibly affected since then. Great fatigue, great fog. Only by luck, someone said the name cavitation. Some members of forums said to get it scraped, ozoned, shouldn't have had it removed...Please, is there any truth? Lyme is bad enough!!!!! Mary

That is a great idea. I think we can combine the mercury category with dental stuff. I'll do it now.

It would be incredibly helpful if you had a "glossary" of all the various terms and acronyms that I have been wading through in the various posts...

Maybe a reference page with links to important Lyme websites - divided into various categories - e.g. support groups, professional/political associations, medication information, equipment...

That is a good idea. Anyone want to help? Angie2007, you could go through the forum and do this for us. This forum is growing rapidly and we need people to step up and volunteer to be moderators / developers of content.

I started a thread with some terms that I could think of off-hand, but I don't know a lot about the terms for Rifing. Hopefully someone will explain some of those terms!

I can't find any reference to the CD-57 test using the search tool - I expected to find a lot of posts about it...am I looking in the wrong place?

I'm a klutz negotiating this site-- I put my introduction as a reply to Bryan's profile. It doesn't belong there. Could someone please move it to the antibiotics/pharmaceuticals section, or someplace appropriate?

purpleiris --

I'm sorry I didn't get the "what to do on this part of the forum" post up sooner, everyone should have their own thread for their own information.. but there's no rule saying we can't reply to other people there. Please don't think of yourself as a klutz, you didn't know. You can go back to your post and change it, or delete it if you want to. When you look at your post, notice on the bottom there is a tab that says, "Edit" ..? Clickie that, and either edit, or erase.

I suggest saving a copy of your post in a document of some kind (notepad, ms word or works, etc..) so you can repost your own thread. It was a great start of an intro! I hope to see you build on it.

dino,

Sounds like you want to talk about babesia?

We have a forum in this community for co-infections, that would be the place to go talk about it/ask questions.. but if that doesn't feel comfortable to you the general board is always a good fall back. Is there anything in particular you wanted to ask about the sweats/chills?

Hi there
Thanks for the reply.Just to give you a history,Im doing better than ive been in years. In fact after 1 yr on IV and a few years on oral I really only started getting better when I got a infra red sauna and started regular exercise.
Obviously I could write a book(and might some day)as could most of us about all Ive been through but I,ll keep this brief.
The thing that keeps me from funtioning fully is the sweats/chills.yes I think it is Babesia .I just wondered if there are things i could do to help ease them.Herbs etc.
I will look at the forum. Do you know exactly what causes them.they may only last a few minutes but come quite frequently during the day .It makes it hard for me to work or do anything when Im wet and freezing.
Cold pills do help but I hate to make a habit of that.
Good on you for replying and Id be interested in hearing anything you have to say about or info you could direct me to.
Cheers Dino

Hi, I just started typing this a few minutes ago, and it disappeared, I am not very computer savvy...I finally got your lyme and rife book from the library...can you believe that there is only ONE in five states around minnesota??? I lent it to a friend that is almost literally on his deathbed (down to 105# from 175) and let him read it first, but HOPEFULLY it will help me learn to use the site better??? Anyway,I listened to your blog today on glyco sugars, and it made me think of something that maybe makes sense to you or doesn't. When my uncle died he left me his winemaking equipment, and when you finish the wine you add wine conditioner...it is a mixture of NON-FERMENTABLE sugar, potassium metasulfite, (sulfites don't kill yeasts, they create an environment that yeast doesn't like and deadly to most other microorganisms such as bacteria), and potassium sorbate. Would this act like the sugars that you were talking about, while still kill the bacteria??? The Lord has gotten me through this disease for many years (without knowing I had it) and for the past few months since I found out I had it, and he also gave me a good brain, which I am glad I still have ENOUGH of it!!! But this might prod someone who knows more about it to look into it??? Thanks
